I went to Costco yesterday to stock up. The tariff thing has me remembering toilet paper was a premium during COVID, plus I was hoping to get ahead of big price increases.

I’m not sure I succeeded. My usual monthly bill was between $300-400. Yesterday I walked out at $750. Yikes!

I find that avoiding the news helps bring some peace back into my life. Not being immersed in the culture wars every waking moment has raised my well being.

Not to be taken as giving up but finding ways to resist is the next project.

And I saw Dead & Co at The Sphere. It presents a conundrum. Stage-side floor passes are coveted (and I scored a prime spot) but the visuals, which flow back over your head and the shear size of the display surface has me craning my head back for half the show.

I’m starting to get zen with my food. It’s making each meal a potential discovery but also means that the experience is not easily replicable with a recipe.

Twitter has gotten so bad but it looks like the worst is yet to come. I'm weaning myself off but a couple of streams of real time information on markets is hard to replicate.
