I never knew that the standards for national leadership were the capacity to lie, obfuscate, blame, whine and self-aggrandize. Well, actually I did, because I studied the history of fascism and communism.

Thinking about things I value: (1) Kindness, (2) Truth, (3) Proportion, (4) Humility, (5) Industriousness. It’s just a starter list, but this seems like a good time to think about what I strive to stand for and live up to.
