I’m starting to think I’m burned out on both the other place and here. Really don’t have much interest in reading about what I’m seeing on either one.

A far better investment than Big Onion’s evil wares.

That’s awful. Glad she’s mostly OK. I wonder if there are HRM cameras there?

Well, the sunshine and rainbows of Bluesky just clouded over in a hurry. Haven’t seen that kind of thing much here. Time to do some curating. Bye now.

I fail to understand why everyone in the province would need to be alerted (I didn’t know that was the case which just raises more questions). All police agencies, sure. But I suspect these occurrences are not all that uncommon and public alerts are usually limited to a region.

What does that even mean, and what relevance does it have to people here? Alerts like that need to be used with great discretion or ppl end up ignoring all of them.

You'd skip on that one but the newer HRM one would get you in its net.

I know “The Devil Inside”b/c it’s on my playlist but I don’t remember ever seeing the official video. Well produced, sexy and stylish. youtu.be/hv_zJrO_ptk?...

Too bad you can’t carry an emergency can of watts in your trunk.

I encountered that last week. I believe they will only start the process of checking in if you’re within 10 minutes of your appointment time.

Also, 18th century portrait artists and lower-tier English football clubs. The feed needs some tuning.

Also Dartmouth College.

I (or my family from 1973-1982) used to live on Kline at #2510.

Thanks. All of this stuff reminds me a lot of early-days Twitter when they were adding functions now taken for granted like turning off reposts from accounts or muting words. Unfortunately this requires starting from scratch. Not sure I’ve got the stamina/patience for doing it again.

Thanks, but I wasn’t asking about photos/alt text. I was wondering about the labeled thing.
November 18, 2024 at 4:11 AM
I’m sorry. I looked at it and had no clue what to do. People talk about how easy it is to shape what you see here but it’s all a mystery as to how.
November 18, 2024 at 4:04 AM
That’s OK. I live in Dartmouth. I went to the Elections website to find out where my riding’s Returning Office is. It showed me a map of Cumberland County. Close enough for government work?
November 17, 2024 at 6:41 PM
Seems kind of complicated. Not sure I can figure this place out.
November 16, 2024 at 12:05 PM
I was wondering that too. It would be a big "oops" if so.

It is still a mess on an iPad in landscape mode. Essentially unusable. Amazing they have not fixed that after all this time.
