Oops, I mean 1963! I wonder what Doctor Who would be like if Ridley Scott had designed the Daleks...

In relation to Ridley Scott and the Ark in Space, there used to be a story that Scott was to assigned to design Ark. It's not true - Scott worked as a BBC designer and was assigned to work on the Daleks (1962) but a scheduling conflict saw that job go to Raymond Cusick. Scott was freelance by 1970

There was a Bill to do that, but it wasn't the AEC who were to police the truthfulness (I think it was ACMA). Regardless, discussions with the Senate found it lacked support to be passed. Talk to the cross bench, if enough of them supported it, it would already be law

Leaving a coke is stupid. Assuming it is in a can, the Sentinelese would have no association between a metal cylinder and drinking. They wouldn't know how to open it. And black is not the colour of something you drink, plus the effervescence...

Yes I have, both during this campaign and otherwise. Many MPs arrange situations where you can meet them (though some electorates are geographically large, so that limits things). I'd be suspicious of an MP who didn't do this, and might vote against them (although policy is more important)

Let's not forget: Bob Katter is an independent. Ralph Babet is an independent. A breath of fresh air, they are not. Being independent is not a guarantee that they will be good or useful.

It looks like BF is trying a range of projects to potentially become ongoing series. Even if only short-lived, a change in the mix of releases is a good thing. Hopefully a continuation of the Tomorrow People range will come about sometime... In the meantime, I'll be listening to Time Tunnel

I deleted my account and the app. I'm not going back, even for a visit. But there's a song with the right name that a friend of mine wrote...

Yep, questionable nuclear reactors and a recession, quite the plan, isn't it?

Who is the hero of the 24/7 world, and why should we gas him?

Oh, that's a pity, except in Latin or something...

I don't know. I shut down my account and have not been tempted to even look back. I recall the wise words of Justice Lee about not going back for your hat after escaping from the lion's den.
