“Hereditary” was called “El Legado Del Diablo” which translates to “The Legacy of the Devil” 👀

So the English version of “Child’s Play” is a straight forward title. The Spanish version though is called “El Muñeco Diabólico” which translates to “The Diabolical Doll.” Now that’s a title!

A neat thing about this franchise though is you can say “Chucky” and in both languages it makes sense.

And the answer was still TikTok. Such an odious “ban” it went through.

In some Spanish places it seems that, “We’re the Millers” was translated pretty straightforwardly as “Somos los Millers.”

However, one special version was titled, “¿Quién *&$%! son los Miller?” Quite literally, “Who the *&$%! are the Millers?”

Adding to the thread.

The speedier and ferocious-er sequel,
“2 Fast 2 Furious,” was distributed as “+Rapido +Furioso” in Spanish.

At a glance it looks like “Plus Fast Plus Furious” but in this case the Addition Symbol is meant to say Mas (More).

Giving us “More Faster More Furious”

Saw a similar thing for the “Twisters” movie.

Spanish version is simply titled “Tornados.” Cool thing is that it contains the word “dos” which is the number 2 in Spanish. Kinda like “Fan4stic” but here the number in the title actually works.
