Delighted to finally get a win but all the same problems were there in spades. Vale were abysmal and we were still very fortunate to take the points. No evidence of a corner being turned yet.

Berne doesn’t have much high level executive experience either. Not in the football industry or anything closely related to it. His appointment is another massive punt. Looks like higher calibre people can see what a shitshow it is at the club and don’t want anything to do with it.

Fox is by definition a novice. Stopped playing just five years and only held a couple of very minor footballing roles since. Nothing on his CV to suggest he’s got the chops for his current role. A hit and hope appointment that is sadly typical of the current regime.

It won’t happen. The Club is in structural chaos. We don’t have anyone in position to attempt a rebuild at the moment let alone people of the calibre to get a rebuild right. League Two and a half empty stadium next season. An abject demonstration of footballing mismanagement from Hallett.
