It's a well known used car salesman trick. I like to use it for the force of good and say things like "the ancestors are proud of you" and "you should be nicer to yourself"

Ooo, *is Pokemon Nerd* so there's a pokemon that's LITERALLY the cast off husk of a different Pokémon and it's a ghost type. And depending on location, LOTS of ghost haunt things, from chandeliers and tea cups, so sandcastle and money.

If you haven't then I heartily recommend it (the first episode is skippable as it really doesn't carry the tone of the rest of the series but does have important plot.)
