OK, the "guys" reference is leaving me cold
Agree, mostly. But The Daily is only recently calling things what they are. They spent the past 8 mths saying actions are, "remarkable," "extraordinary," "a break with tradition," "unprecedented," when they mean, "unAmerican." Likewise, NPR has been less mealymouthed since their funding was cut.

I've kind of given up on NYT after listening to The Daily lately. They are tied up in knots to avoid acknowledging truths. Words like "extraordinary" to describe anything coming from the Administration are going to wear out from overuse.

Well the CDC experts left because they were "not aligned with Trump's vision." Makes it sounds like a deficiency on their part instead of "they left because they refused to betray public health." The pretzel logic of these euphemisms is getting harder to unravel.
