Gram staining colors bacteria violet (+) or pink (-). + means the cell wall has a thick peptidoglycan polysaccharide layer unlike -. This is useful for identification

Bacillus subtilis is a ubiquitous soil bacteria known for its resiliency by use of endospores and mutualistic tendencies. Bacilli lineage may be as old as 4Ga!

Great chai tea here. Returning Red Dragon on a bright sunny day with a rose cake. Ordered a floral oolong as well. Comes in it's own special glasswear.
