My main enjoyment comes from foods and fun, and find new places to enjoy in IA that are interesting. I like to read almost anything. Some of my favorite poets/ writers are Ginsberg, Bukowski, Burroughs, and Rimbaud

Is everything okay Bryan?

Hey! Glad to see your post. Totally agree. healthy boundaries are important, and trust should be earned, not just handed out. Wishing you a good day too. Stay safe and stay strong ✊

History shows regimes target opponents, not their own allies, unless there’s evidence of betrayal. Without proof, what you’re saying is just speculation dressed up as certainty
September 21, 2025 at 11:14 AM
That sounds more like a conspiracy theory than a fact. If a regime really wanted to “distract” from its crimes, assassinating a prominent ally would be one of the least effective ways to do it, it would only draw more scrutiny and suspicion.

Lovely

Campaign finance reform is the foundation we need if we want genuine progress
August 29, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Absolutely true. Until money stops controlling politics, real change will always be blocked. Lobbyists and big corporations shouldn’t have more power than the people, yet that’s exactly why nothing gets fixed from guns to climate to healthcare.
August 29, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Exactly, the numbers show it’s not just about how many guns exist, but how access is regulated, how society views them, and how cultural factors play a role. The U.S. situation is unique compared to places like Canada or New Caledonia
August 29, 2025 at 10:05 PM
it doesn’t have to mean unfettered access. The real question is whether we value the right to life and safety as much as we value the right to own any kind of firearm.
August 29, 2025 at 2:46 AM
That’s unfortunately how it feels sometimes, but history shows that public opinion and policy can shift when enough people demand change. The Second Amendment has always been subject to interpretation and regulation
August 29, 2025 at 2:46 AM
Other countries have taken steps to make access more difficult, and their results speak for themselves. The U.S. has to decide whether it wants to keep accepting this level of violence as normal, or actually try solutions proven to reduce it.
August 29, 2025 at 2:36 AM
You make a strong point. The data clearly shows a correlation between gun accessibility and the frequency of mass shootings. While mental health issues exist everywhere, the ease of access to high-powered firearms often determines the scale of the tragedy.
August 29, 2025 at 2:36 AM
That’s great
August 5, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Thank you Bryan
August 5, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Totally get that. It’s exhausting when the feed gets flooded with that kind of content. Muting or filtering is honestly the best way to clean things up and keep your sanity

You’re probably right, humanity has a way of pushing limits without always thinking long-term. If we don’t shift course, Mother Nature might just hit the reset button before we even get close to four digits flipping over again
July 21, 2025 at 4:22 PM
That’s a wild thought! I guess by the time we hit the year 10000, humanity better have bigger things figured out like living on other planets or extending consciousness. But hey, maybe future programmers will look back at us and laugh like we do about Y2K
