What is going on with my Forest Pansy Redbud? The main trunk broke 3 years ago during a wind storm and the "stump" grew back, but now the leaves are green and purple.
What's going on?
Is this a tree I can braid or just prune it back this fall?

Snuck in a quick "harvest" in a 15 minute break between showers; this is going to be a great year! These are just the ones that are ripening early!
