Unplugged" 🔌 typically refers to a musical style and a state of being disconnected from technology. In Biophilic design, Green infrastructure, or Green Roof technology "unplugged" means performing without the supply of energy resources after installation and without technical gimmicks 💻 to operate.

#SolarGreenRoofs combine vegetated roofs with solar modules (name!). Both technologies support each other (synergetic effect) and tremendously reduce the environmental impact of buildings with payback in a short time. Very common in Europe, not so common in the #USA because of retarded leadership.

🅲🅾🅼🅼🆄🆃🅴🆁 🅲🅻🆄🆂🆃🅴🆁🆂 or bedroom communities (settlements with no infrastructure), are prevalent in America. What is deemed normal for Americans is viewed as unconstitutional in Germany, where urban development prioritizes sustainable, healthy, and stress-reducing living environments for all ages.

Pictures of #puppies and #kittens, can have powerful effects on attention and concentration, as many studies show. I prefer pictures and videos from #plants in #symbiosis with human structures and that is also what I do for my entire life.

Ground-connected #GreenWalls on historical buildings are a common sight in Europe, enhancing the allure of our architectural heritage. The Old Castle in #Stuttgart, originating from the 10th century, suffered significant damage during WWII and restored in the 50's.

The Old Castle in Stuttgart, originating from the 10th century, suffered significant damage during WWII but was restored, featuring the characteristic GreenWall. The Green Wall is approximately 65 years old, spans about 2,000 square feet, has restricted rooting space, has never been irrigated, and is pruned annually for about four hours. This Green Wall serves as my charging station while I am in Stuttgart, Germany.

As the autumn fog gradually lifted, a vast expanse of #GreenRoofs and #SolarGardenRoofs emerged in an industrial zone in Germany, a sight that's very common in such areas throughout this European country - not in North America.
