Maybe the issue is I actually want to *talk* more, not just *write*. And for some reason, people seem to be much less eager to talk to strangers on the internet recently than, say, a decade ago. I thought I was bananas, but then I stumbled across research that says it's really so

I once had an assignment where I had to describe how I can be sure I reached my goal, and the goal was to read a book on topic. Made me extremely anxious. I sent it at the last moment, and honestly wrote that when I turn the page and there are no more text and no more pages then I've read a book

I recently learned that there are at least five crab groups evolved from unrelated ancestors (this is called convergent evolution), and that it was first described in early XX as 'the many attempts of Nature to evolve a crab'

It's actually much better than the constant swing between fight and flight I've experienced for the most of my life, and kinda... net positive? But I'm exhausted with the unpredictability of me switching on and off, I want to be ok right now, huh?
