In #Hitchin we don't need to put Christ back into Christmas! We have a wonderful team preparing this in our main church, one of 16 in our Churches together family. All with thier own traditional services.

I'll be helping to 🎶🎵🔔🎶🎵ring the bells🙂

Someone was admiring this hoodie from @balconyshirts.co.uk I was wearing the other day. 😯It's still available 🙂

It's still a good #woke joke🤣

11 paper doves for remembrance....

The time of year, the light, the weather and eventually their fall, broken amongst the leaves.

Evocative of hopes dashed, sacrifice made, souls lost, pieces picked up.

🤔 beginning to think that "socialist" Labour voters in Stevenage are staying at home and letting Reform in. Result of Stevenage Borough Council By-election in Roebuck ward.

Only 25% of the electorate could be bothered to vote!

Odd @jamiedriscoll.bsky.social has statements about your party on Twitter (x) but nothing here..

I guess people will have to be patient... Everyone likes the idea but not enough people want to take responsibility for setting things up properly🙄

What on EARTH is going on with @yourparty.bsky.social ?

There's this @theguardian.com article about a legal dispute over money.

Then two events that supporters in my area could easily get to featuring people from both factions....

There's a trend of football (soccer) day stickers + politics in the UK here's a selection local to me plus a spoof Green Party one

No wonder us greens feel we are the only opposition!

The police there know their community, have weighed up the risks and made a decision. We should be backing them in this case.

Later we saw how violent some of their fans are. Mix this with the availability of fireworks for Nov 5th....

It's a pity that Thomas Ricks isn't on here... I would think @bylinetimes.bsky.social &
@alexhh.bsky.social would find his book "waging a good war" about the American Civil rights movement an interesting read.

Getting hold of my copy was the one time I failed to boycott Amazon 😢

I wonder..... Would it make neighbourhood action days when we pick up litter, report stuff and do a bit of tidying more fun. If we called them "Inspecting the Nuisances" action days🤣
Could have just the right amount of silly English eccentricity about it.🤣

Spotted on a statue outside conference.

🤣 Inspector of nuisances🤣

The yellow inclusion card.

♥️That it explains what it's for.
October 4, 2025 at 6:20 AM
Say "hello!" to our @greenparty.org.uk inclusion card🙂

It's there so that people can help others to feel safe at conference when thing get🤔too heated!

We are being encouraged to keep them 🤔. I'm thinking they may be useful in local and regional meetings too....

When I'm not in a fringe or conference session I'm usually here🙂

I don't think yesterday's events have sunk in properly. You can experience shock and horror yet carry on. Then there's the initial "I don't believe it" moment which takes time to snap out of.

At Wetherspoons Bournemouth Moon on the Square. Finding out that the Mild isn't a mild it's just light ale! Mild in my book should be a dark ale not this amber citrus stuff. Disappointed ☹️
