I absolutely love how clever and distinct the different characters get; my favorite one of these so far simply in mechanical terms. Plus the meta base-building is a great idea (the weakest part for me but still really neat!)

Mario Kart 8 has steering assist stuff and NSO +Expansion Pack comes with a lot of free tracks.
That tier of NSO also comes with emulators for NES, SNES etc. Might develop a Tetris obsession, which never hurt anyone 😅
