There is nothing more off-putting than your colleagues constantly banking the weekly catch-up talking about how everyone should file regularly🙄

Been bodybuilding since 2021 so diet and routine are a big deal. Then came 2023 and “hot-desking” life, except no one really hot-desks. We’re all creatures of habit clinging to our favourite spots.
With no fixed desk, my workbag became my daily battle: 2 laptops, meals, coffee, water- nearly 20 kg.

Listened to the Economist podcast: Weekend Intelligence Science under Seige.
I realised we are witnessing an U.S. cultural revolution.

For some people - especially men - a movie must be like sex, foreplay, action and a climax at the end. Everything else is called a frustration.
👆
My thought reading the comments from disappointing audience who watched A House of Dynamite.

My weekend go-to: A House of Dynamite.
The new movie “A House of Dynamite” questions the utility of protocols in a nuclear event. @hannarosin.bsky.social speaks with the screenwriter Noah Oppenheim about the film, and @radiofreetom.bsky.social about today's nuclear-proliferation reality:

Job seekers who ask the recruiter to send you the position description, hello? You applied for the job, and it’s your responsibility to retrieve the file and study it.
The recruiter is not your EA.

Surprised to see that 2 of my friends follow Charlie Kirk’s widow on Insta. I mean..you probably don't know who she is 2 weeks ago. So when I saw Obama’s new post, I checked if these friends follow him too - NO.
This says a lot in my POV. I know how to sense myself around them moving forward.

Thanks for the great piece - my opinion shouldn’t be defined as “left”. It’s the outcome of organic social recognition.
I don’t seek confirmation from people who hold opposing ideas, which should never define my or their values.

Aussie traveller trend -
📈Japan 88%
📉U.S. -32%
This is not due to political factors, but simply a better value for money.

I deleted my Thread account 6 weeks ago, and it has been refreshing.

And then I came across this podcast ep. It hits me that social media is the machine Silicon Valley designed to waste my time. I need a clear mind to survive in the AI era with independent thinking skills.

I witnessed a group of kids (12 -14 yrs old) went into a cram school in Werribee (a western suburb in Melbourne, Victoria), mostly Indian families. Parents parked illegally to drop-off, triggered chaos on the road.
I then shared the story to my hubby. He said: “what is cram school?”😂

Being opinionated about cultural war is not sexy.

讀台灣評論與新聞,總是與心理諮商建議大相徑庭:「快來看 - 我們表現得有多優異,比起日韓台灣是多麼的有成就!」

事實是 - nobody gives a damn.

“Some” journalists start reflecting the value of “junk reporting” simply to gain traction.
