Today I finished reading Chi no Wadachi (Blood on the Tracks). Another uncomfortable read - but in my opinion it did a scarily good job at capturing a psychological abusive relationship, with some good drama thrown in.
I should read something relaxing next. But to be honest those rarely grab me.

I finished reading Hadashi no Gen (Barefoot Gen). It's autobiographical and about the nuking of Hiroshima, both of which grabbed my attention.
It dragged on a bit towards the end, and it's really heavy - but I think it should be read by all.
Also, I was surprised by how critical it is of Japan.

I finished reading Hadashi no Gen (Barefoot Gen). It's autobiographical and about the nuking of Hiroshima, both of which grabbed my attention.
It dragged on a bit towards the end, and it's really heavy - but I think it should be read by all.

Today I finished reading Bleach. I went in hoping to see cool character designs and badass panels, and that's exactly what I got.
It's definitely a shounen, with all the pros and cons that come with that, but still enjoyed it overall.
I just wish there were less "weird" terms, and less characters.
