Yep, the "bait" being if the investor opts to receive coupon and redemption in yuan then in theory it protects them from shock rouble devaluations as they'd be paid in nice stable yuan.
Of course this being Russia, there will be shenanigans (special taxes, forced reinvestment, ...)
