We had a couple of non-Black kids in elementary and middle school because I went to school in Hyde Park. High school? All Black- even my private high school. Didn’t have a white froend until college.

I think it’s a little different because in the heist films, they aren’t stealing from grandmas and single moms. The people they’re heisting are casino owners and such & it’s so improbable that it feels fantastical. The Sopranos is good at showing these dudes up for the scum they are.
