You DON'T need to do much. Charlie XCX mostly posts nonsense hot girl shit, but she speaks up. You're not being asked to become a damn activist. You can even THANK people, or "send out a prayer" to be safe. But you don't. Your silence is violence; your voice could save lives.

We live in the internet age, where we, more-so celebrities, are given power to spread any message. And choosing to show off your engagement rings while kids are losing lives/limbs in Gaza and people are being kidnapped on American streets is tone deaf and cruel at best.

Being so ignorant and again, out of touch, to think that Pedro Pascal saying "trans rights" constantly or Chappell Roan speaking for Palestine/queer rights isn't doing anything, you're not around enough people. Remember when you were a teenager? This impacts kids.

Does it kinda suck? Sure. They love the admiration, money, and fame. But maybe, just maybe, your silence is you being so out of touch with reality that you can just not care about the people getting away with what they've done.
