The first question to ask is if a nation that is beyond wealthy enough to provide healthcare for all of its citizens should instead accept its citizens being left sick with shortened lives so corporations can get rich. I don’t see Cuban asking that one…

Had it on the side of my head in my 30’s. One ear swelled to about 3x normal size and I had to take the arm off the side of my glasses so it wouldn’t stick to what was oozing out of my skin. Tylenol 3 barely took the edge off the pain. Get the shot.

Not a banana fan, but my daughter yells at me for always making eye contact with my wife when I eat a hot dog.

It looks like maybe a semester of classes worth of reading material, and none of them appear to be textbooks. By his logic, elementary school me qualified as an astronomer.

I doubt the average American has any idea what it takes to gain citizenship. I’ve had a few coworkers go through it and each of their stories surprised me. People with the determination to make it through that process are people I want as fellow citizens.

There is also a real problem that underprivileged kids and kids with parents who struggle to navigate the system may not get the supports and accommodations they should.

Find one thing to mitigate the harms, and then vote for a bunch of appointees who will increase the harms? Senators can be expected to do more than one thing.

Drove cross-country once in a borrowed van with “fold-flat” seats. Unfolded right before leaving and found a dead mouse under one (almost embedded in the back of a headrest). We had to spray the upholstery with Febreze every 30 minutes or so for the entire trip even after we got rid of the mouse.

The only reasonable explanation is that his God is punishing him for shunning his teachings. Also all the other Gods, because none of them would condone his actions.

My grandmother had an ornate porcelain serving dish that was only used for thanksgiving cranberry sauce. When I was little I was impressed at how it perfectly preserved the shape of the can it slid out of. It was a vase.

I grew up swapping floppy disks to move from one screen to another. Having a 2TB drive in that form factor now is just so cool.

My daughter and some friends played it once and then noped out after getting a message from a creep. I think it took about 20 minutes.
