Third Generation Anti-Facist.

"Far worse crimes have been committed in the name of obedience than in the name of rebellion."- C.P. Snow.
Russia will cease waging war when Russia is reduced to a state that it is impossible for Russia to wage war.

Looking over the US's track record from Vietnam to the present, why would any educated person believe that a US security guarantee is worth more tha a bucket of warm spit?
December 20, 2025 at 4:23 PM
The historical lands of the Muscovite empire conists of a few hundred square miles of swamps around Moscow.

Approved at the highest levels. Estonia's spine is being tested.

I guess they don't have access to moveable netting?

Confining all those war fighting assets just as they are needed to protect their shadow fleet?

The logic of this is elusive.
December 18, 2025 at 12:27 PM
Well then, there shouldn't be any complaints about permanent exclusion from all future G7 meetings.
December 17, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Oooooh.

In retrospect, maybe y'all should have had some sappers look it over before move-in. Sooo many Ladas.

Are they still doing Ladas?
December 17, 2025 at 1:05 PM
With very few exceptions, almost every world leader, diplomat and security service chief of almost every country on earth knows that there is something very wrong with the POTUS.

This cannot possibly serve the USA well.
December 17, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Uh. Naval blockades are an act of war. Which raises three questioms.

1. Is there a US Congress that approves war things?

2. Is there a UN Security Council that has meetings when war things happen?

3. Where are they atm?

One might consider the mass abduction of Ukrainian children to be a form of literal genetic theft.
December 15, 2025 at 10:21 PM
To summarize, we will send our entire population to slaughter if required, because that is the only plan we can devise anymore.
December 15, 2025 at 10:12 PM
The entrance to that otherwise closed basin is 100m wide at best.

Ukraine snuck that much kaboom in amongst billions of dollars of naval assets during broad daylight. Impressive AF.

And did they hack the naval base's web cam, or is Ukrainian HUMINT operating there with near-impunity now?
December 15, 2025 at 10:06 PM
Ever wonder who they're taking all that money from?

Try Googling "what is a tariff?"
December 15, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Tariffs are placed on goods Americans buy. It is a tax that Americans pay.

18 trillion dollars taxed from American companies large and small.
December 14, 2025 at 9:00 PM
The current regime has made their low opinion of non U.S. citizens very clear.

So, the rest of the world (and their money) giving the USA a wide berth until 2028 (or longer) should be a well-received develooment for them.

The irony of large UAV's hovering motionless above and dropping ordinance on the very expensive AD systems built to shoot them down.

He is the 7 deadly sins incarnate...if he was actually conversing with God, that small detail might have come up.
December 14, 2025 at 5:35 AM
Russia still working throught the stages of grief over its' death as a world power. Looks like they've stopped denying the reality.

Now they seem to be somewhere between anger and bargaining.

Depression and acceptance to follow, so long as Team Civilization holds fast.
December 14, 2025 at 1:50 AM
If the conservatives hope to prevent a liberal majority via repeated defections they should perhaps find a lnew eader who inspires more loyalty and fewer defections.
December 13, 2025 at 4:29 AM
No it isn't

Imagine how stupid FDR would have sounded by suggesting Britain hold elections during the Bliz.

...and how are a few million Ukrainians living under Russian occupation supposed to vote in such elections?
December 10, 2025 at 4:23 AM
Numerous countries have been no-panic slow-walking trade talks with the US until the SCOTUS rules.

Could be that he's "got no cards".
December 10, 2025 at 2:47 AM
Trump is clearly, obviously temporary. So is Putin.

Surrendered territory tends to be permanent, if history is any indication.

Screwing all future generations of your countrymen to make a pair of literal walking corpses smile?

What national leader would choose this?

Whenever one door closes, another one opens.

Frequently, it's China's door.
December 9, 2025 at 6:22 AM
Importers pay tariffs. That would be...Americans.

So, he's laying heavier taxes on American farmers' fertilizer.

Also claiming to make food more affordable.

Worst case scenario for Canadians is selling the stuff to some other place that grows crops.

The dude's too cunning to be understood.
December 9, 2025 at 4:25 AM
Yknow, the United States is also a collection of smaller countries. It's right there in the name.

Perhaps 50 mini countries instead would be pteferable to Russia, Bejing....well, everyone.
