i honestly think all tripleA game devs have set their expectations for sales WAY too dang high. it feels like every single game they release is always followed by a "disappointing sales figures :(" Like dang, they expect every single person on the planet to buy one??? hellnaw

for books, I got the exact same opinion as with video games: phyyyysicaaaaal meeddddiiiaaaaaa my beloooovvveeeeddddd. gimme dat paper book over those ebooks. I already spend too much time staring at a screen, anyways

I'd think that nowadays, computer parts are computer parts. Might even be like most other products at stores, where the only difference is the name printed on the box. Esp. if you arent concerned about having THE latest-greatest. Prices have hiked so far up the mountain, probly the only factor left

i remember they had that survey asking people their opinions on physical games?(I didnt notice that in time before they closed it) Hopefully this means they listening. Maybe they think the lack of physical games reduced their Switch2 sales numbers? shrug I don't work in that side of business-running

google mightve pushed this to happen. exclusivity to get more eyeballs watching their ads. Also i imagine the venue they typically rent to put on the show is $$$$

to me, its Star Wars. Not that I consider Starwars to be xmas, but just because it ALWAYS seems to blow-up (even more than normal) during xmas time. Movies all over tv, merch becoming xmas themed etc. But besides that.... hmmm....

you know what the best part is? I find so often that the same people who complain about "there is tutorial" and skip over or dont pay attention to it are the same people who spend the entire game going "how do i do _?" "where do I go?" "what button is it to _?" uuhhhhh huh.

aye THAT little fact is so mind-boggling. I remember the Blockbuster days, never pictured that they would go under, or that regular TV would sink so far. This buyout is another major symptom of the massive changes in entertainment as a whole we've had over last 20ish years

tempting, but Im still waiting on the Switch2 with no built in spytech-microphone lol. also my dad _might_ buy a Switch2 for me for xmas, so hey, thatd be even better in one way, and 'fine, acceptable' in another
