I've had somebody on Grindr go off on a tirade because I don't make myself available at their beck and call. Sure spontaneity is great, but not when it's thoroughly inconvenient.

My 92 Buick LeSabre had DRLs and automatic dusk-sensing headlights. There was no "off" position. I think it came with the fancy "Limited" trim.

Trim level and option package differentiation. Also, can't imagine that Evo is buying high-trim level Toyotas for fleet use.

I remember a loaner Pontiac Pursuit (Chevy Cobalt) had a similar feature, but I know it wasn't base model standard equipment. I think Subaru is the first to implement it as standard on all models.

Also, considering DRLs have been required on new CDN market vehicles since 1988, it's astounding how many cars I see on the road without them. Nissan decided to use fog lamps for DRLs on a lot of models through the 00s and I doubt drivers notice the fog lamp bulbs have burned out.

Yes, this. I've noticed that Subaru seems to have implemented this as standard at some point. You can set the lights to Auto, Park, or On and there's a momentary position for Off that springs back to Auto. The lights only remain in the off position until restart.

This is somehow even more true than the shopping cart test 😮

Or just 7-4418, because that was a thing too.

I can appreciate this, but Silhouette for me all the way. "The Cadillac of Minivans." From Oldsmobile.

Someone I knew used to switch his hearing aids off and use them as expensive ear plugs or like a mute button for conversations he didn't want to hear. 🤣

Have you watched "My Life is Murder?" It's an ongoing TV series based in Aus/NZ starring Lucy Lawless as a sassy private detective/home baker. More than a couple Xena Easter eggs.

Don't you mean "alarm cock?" 🤣🔥

I recently bought my Mom a new Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5 and it may or may not fit the bill.
Pros:
13" OLED - great contrast/colour
Support until 2031
Incredible battery life

Cons:
Thicker/heavier than an iPad
4 year old model
16:9 aspect ratio instead of 3:2 might make it awkward

Manufacturers seem to run hot and cold with Chromebook tablets, so there aren't a lot on the market at the moment. Consider models with 8GB of RAM as 4GB can lead to poor Android app performance. Mid-range Snapdragon CPU models and above are nice and fast. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 2 for example.

I'm not going to issue any model-specific recommendations, but I would avoid Android tablets these days. Chrome OS tablets can be a good experience running web-based or Android draw/paint apps. Models with USI support (a pen standard) implement pressure sensitivity for web and Android apps.

Also, even though a company's policy might state "SaVE eVeRYthING tO ShArEPoiNT," Office 365 apps still default to individual OneDrive accounts, even if you haven't set up those OneDrive accounts to sync in Windows. 🤦🏻‍♂️

If I could go back in time and recast the film, Martin Mull would be my pick for Principal Rooney.
