Another thing DE does really well is (largely by cutting out combat) making failure have actual repercussions. It helps that the character is canonically a fuck-up so failure feels like a real narrative thing happening (and that he consequences of failure can be just as interesting as success)

Zionists benefitted a lot from the average person believing Israel-Palestine was a "complicated" issue you had to understand millennia of history to weigh in on. Now most people see what is happening very clearly so Zionists want to shift the argument into something more opaque and academic.

Not necessarily disputing what you're saying, just pointing out that Zionists like to take a very cut-and-dry modern atrocity and steer the conversation towards the ancient past, the truth of which is inscrutable to the average person.

Who has genetic ancestry to people who lived in the region 6,000 years ago is irrelevant to contemporary human rights abuses.

Zionists want to shift the argument into one about "indigeneity" because it lets them shift the narrative to the ancient world and archaeology and ignore the very obvious modern atrocities. I think it behooves us to not fall into that trap.

I think splitting hairs about who is or isn't indigenous kind of details the argument and ignored the fact that all human history is a history of migration. The fact that Palestinians have the right to peace and full sovereignty does not depend on them having some prehistoric claim to the land.

War is peace, freedom is slavery, etc. You can keep appropriating all these woke buzzwords and trying to flip the script on it, but don't be surprised that people aren't really falling for it.

I mean keep believing that if it keeps your conscience clear. Just don't be surprised that most of the world doesn't believe that horseshit and instead believes what they see with their eyes.

Your argument keeps relying on the fact that you are just ignoring that Palestinians exist. Like the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is the thing people are objecting to, not some critique of the concept of nationalism as such.

Again, you're just ignoring the main thing I'm saying which is the millions of people under perpetual domination by Israel who have no rights under it. In a truly democratic state, all Palestinians, not only the small minority currently designated "Arab-Israelis" would have full democratic rights.
