Perhaps, but you never know unless you try. I cancelled my Amazon Prime membership deciding I don't need that useless thing in China today on my doorstep tomorrow. The waste is unconscionable. Instead I purchase locally produced food and goods, no big box stores.

Regardless of my independently validating that the farmer in question was using chemicals, and the fact that I verify the Organic claims of my local producers, I find that going local and organic is among the best things that I can do for the health of my family, community and planet.

I drove passed a farm late this summer with a farmer out spraying his enormous crop field. I have never found a stench so offensive in all my years. It was some nasty chemical, completely unnatural and foreign to my senses.
I've been consuming nothing but local, organic produce ever since.
