one thing I know is their pbr conversion occasionally makes spots where the diffuse is dark have 0 roughness, which causes way too shiny lighting at random spots, and if it's metal, it makes it a perfect mirror for no reason.

Like what do you mean 45 chapters in Shallan says "10 heartbeats" and then just not address that? Has she had a shardblade the whole time? Crazy foreshadowing from the dark alleyway scene earlier if so, where she said she had a weapon but was too afraid to use it.
