Welcome Smokey to GDRI. He is understandably a little timid at the moment, but he’s warming up to his new foster home quickly. As per usual, Otis, my other Dane, expects new dogs to instantly be his best friend. He is fine around her smaller dogs, as well as cats and even a bird. Cont.

Welcome Izzy to GDRI. Izzy is 10. She came to rescue because her owner was murdered. We realize at her age, there may not be a family willing to give her a retirement home, but we are hoping someone will have a soft bed in need of a sweet old girl to rest on it. Cont. #dog

May has been with us 6 months now and would really live to find her family. She is a big girl at 175ish pounds who needs a family that will watch her weight. At 6 she is at that age where she is hard to place because she is too old for many families but too young for others. Cont.

Don't let her grey face fool you. Even at 8 years old, Bailey loves her daily walks, usually about 45 minutes long. She still enjoys when the huskies next door come out so she can give them a “what for”! I really have to watch her when I’m cooking as she is a BIG THIEF. Cont.. #dogs
