That's the only way it makes sense to me. Trump was not a powerful or important person on the world stage, so why else would Epstein spend so much time with him?

Conservative Christians hate hearing people outside of their tribe preach about love. I know because I was one. "Love" is only for the tribe.

But you're conflating things that are within the scope of his power, albeit abuses of said power, with something like stealing or cancelling elections, which are not. Yes he's been a cruel, awful president with limited checks, but every time he's tried to become a dictator, he's failed.

He hasn't been able to manifest hardly anything. His ICE raids have been political death for him, his attempts to overturn the 2020 elections failed, basically everything he tries to do blows up in his face. It's true he's not in prison (yet) but that doesn't mean he's succeeding.

"I voted for Kamala and Trump still won, therefore voting will not save this nation." But... what but if a few more people who had that same attitude had voted?
February 9, 2026 at 2:32 PM
Too late. Trumpstein has already been branded a child rapist by most of the country.

Steep sentence for a man who was just taking a stand against crime.

James Harden will be traded 7 more times before his first game with the Cavs.

I agree with you that they are capable of violence and we should be prepared for that eventuality. My comments are in response to panic over his suggestion to nationalize the elections via the Republicans. It will take more than legislation to achieve their objective.
February 2, 2026 at 7:53 PM
Yes, he could shoot the polling locations with missiles too, I suppose, but short of doing what you're describing, he has no control over local elections and that's why he's pushing the Repubs to do something about it, because he knows he can't do shit.
February 2, 2026 at 7:39 PM
Yeah, and gerrymandering. The only real means at their disposal is voter suppression at the local level.
February 2, 2026 at 7:30 PM
These shooters have not gotten away with anything yet.
February 2, 2026 at 7:28 PM
He literally can't take elections away from the states. That's why he's telling Republicans to do it. It's no different than proclaiming himself the pope. Sure, he can do that, but that doesn't mean he gets to live in the Apostolic Palace.
February 2, 2026 at 7:27 PM
Surely if they could have done it, they would have. Instead we see them losing election after election and doing nothing but whining/making excuses.
February 2, 2026 at 7:03 PM
Well, anyone can shoot someone in the back. Trump has no idea how to take over elections, which is why he's telling Repubs to do it. The way Repubs would do it is with legislation, and since elections are protected by the Constitution, they would have to amend it.
February 2, 2026 at 6:54 PM
Obviously they don't care about the laws. That doesn't mean there's a mechanism for them to seize elections and nationalize them. The hallmark of this regime is trying things and having them blow up in their faces.
February 2, 2026 at 6:43 PM
Wallow in defeat then, if that's your thing.
February 2, 2026 at 6:36 PM
Sorry to disappoint you.
February 2, 2026 at 6:31 PM
Yeah, and he loses in court about 80% of the time. There's no mechanism for him to just unilaterally take over elections and he knows that.
February 2, 2026 at 6:29 PM
He can't do anything. It would take amending the Constitution. This is probably just a psyop so his supporters will stop talking about Epstein and his failures.
February 2, 2026 at 6:25 PM
He has no legal jurisdiction to do anything with the elections. They are in the hands of the states and protected by the Constitution, so literally everything he's saying here is bluster and nonsense.
