My favorite Castlevania game! Funny story, I actually got it when I found the game box unopened under a couch cushion at my friend's house in high school. She said it was originally a gift from a relative for her brother who had stopped playing video games, so she said I could have it.

Definitely going with Bladesinger. I admittedly didn't get far in my original playthrough, but maybe Bladesinger with Shadowblade is what will finally get me to beat this game

It will also help prevent a potential soft lock. There's a notoriously hard boss battle that can be nearly unbeatable if your not prepared, so having extra saves you can go reload to grind a bit can be life saving.
