Speaking as someone who occasionally has the vague idea of 'feeling unsafe', she is absolutely right. Pressuring people to vote differently to accommodate feelings that one recognizes as irrational is shameful.

I have a lot of anxieties, spending time in places with lots of people making noise will give me sensory overload. I know it's not anyone else's fault, and if I made my problem into someone else's problem anyway I'd be so ashamed.

This is an audience that can't be bothered to put in a few minutes to try to substantiate their accusations with anything other than 'I feel like that is AI'. Nobody deserves to feel the least bit good about that.

Anything you can say about the perfidious push of AI and how terrible it is, is also an argument for why creators can and should feel outraged when they are baselessly accused of being AI. AI being terrible is reason to NOT be lazy with these accusations.

It's usually some shit like 'that is an AI voice' said to a creator who has a backlog of videos that long pre-date gen AI where they sound the exact same. 'Holding folks accountable' seems to mean throwing out accusations with 0 effort to check.

If it was cause for concern, they could've put in the simple effort to check and see that you have videos with the same voice which long pre-date the AI they're thinking of.

I assume that the vague language of 'within 24 hours' is just covering their ass, rather than it likely taking that long. But who knows these days.
