Daughter and I are completing our #Baseball Cycle at Nationals Park to watch my #CincinnatiReds play the nats. Single (A) - Double (AA) - Triple (AAA) - HR (MLB) Complete. Will have to think of new challenge for next year.

Good morning #Boston. If I weren’t so busy today I’d go catch a #baseball game at #fenway.

Leg three of our #baseball cycle took us to Norfolk to watch the #TripleA #NorfolkTides play against the #NashvilleSound. Only a slight smattering of rain got through a lot of Virginia saw heavy storms. Nashville won the game but was still a great evening fire baseball. Traffic was bad getting there

#RennFaire today. My kids (all adults) wanted to do gender swap costumes. With legs like mine I was all for it. Tons of compliments on the outfit and makeup, which was done by my youngest daughter.

Not the best day for the #FredNats but I got to watch the game from the skybox for the first time. Was a lot of fun, but I have literally been to over 100 #baseball games from various leagues and have not yet caught a foul ball. Ever. Everyone I was with has caught at least one. I am very unlucky.

Completed the Marine Corps Historic Half marathon this morning. Happy they started this one early (6am start) as the weather was humid and warming up quite a bit towards the end. Hospital Hill is rough at the 11 mile mark, but I did it.
Very sweaty bald white man, beard streaked through with gray/white hair holding up finisher medal for the 2025 Historic Half marathon. Medal is silver, rectangular (tall) in shape and features 13.1 in the upper right corner, a reproduction of the Hugh Mercer statue extending from the center to the top of the medal, and the words “Marine Corps Historic Half **** Greatest Half In History” printed on the bottom half.

Game 2 of our Father-Daughter #baseball adventure. Started with a Single-A game, and tonight we’re in #Richmond to catch a Double-A Flying Squirrels game. We’ll hit a Triple-A game soon, then an MLB game before the summer ends. Let’s Go Squirrels!!! Go Nutts!!

This is Mikko. She very often will jump on my lap, meow, walk in a circle a couple times and then throw herself backwards in the strangest “trust fall” manner I’ve ever witnessed. Mikko is *not* my cat. She apparently does not know this.

My youngest daughter and I at our first minor league game of the season. She really enjoys baseball, even this Single A stuff here in Fredericksburg. I really enjoy spending time with her. Win-Win (even if we lose)

Got my #beard trimmed today. Finally. Too bad I have giant skunk stripe rubbing down the middle of it.
