I can't help seeing Ceiling Murderbot as just a drone (although still peering out coyly), so it doesn't have to look at humans with its actual eyeballs (ew)

Also ignore all the reviews complaining about one-dimensional characters and unrealistically over-the-top dramatics. Yes, the book is full of them, but that's the POINT.

I've been using Renshuu paired with a textbook for several months now, and really like it. They have really handy vocab, kanji, and grammar flash card series for (many? most?) common textbooks

Ooo, that sounds good! I do something similar: food process some stuffing with cheese, smush it around the inside of a muffin tin, bake for maybe 5 minutes. Then crack an egg into the cavity, top with more cheese, and bake until the egg white is set. My favorite post-Thanksgiving breakfast
