I downloaded a new brush set recently (J Inky Brush by HARIBO), still getting used to the line weight since it changes depending on how zoomed in/out I am from the canvas

This was originally a colour study but after drawing the first fish I felt that it wasn't working.
But I spent too long on it that I felt that it would be a waste if I didn't show it.
I'll revisit this subject another time.

I've hesitated to upload this drawing for a month because I can't draw women well...

I miss Crabsticks, he was a sweetheart.

If they start misbehaving, I shake my head and say "Your brother Crabsticks would never do this."

Sometimes they stop, haha

Ah right, I forgot to update on this:
It went by smoothly, managed to get a few things straightened out...but, I have half the mind to believe that they won't make a change.
I only hope they're not mad at my sibling after our conversation.

A bit of insight, [X] is my sibling's partner.
There has not been a good first impression for my family and I to start with and it has continued to let us down more as the years go by.
If expectations were to go any lower, I'd would've dug a grave for it.

This morning, I thought about my mother's words; 'pray for good things to come true instead of bad ones'.

I thought to myself, "I hope [X] gets a taste of their own medicine."

I now find myself texting with this person and possibly having a call in the coming weekend.

Did I curse myself??

I hate that I have to continue a conversation that I started 🥲
