I'm gonna start the conversation with our doctor when I go to pick up my accommodation paperwork next week. In BC your PCP can do both hormone readiness assessments AND prescribe T as long as they feel comfortable doing so. I don't know if he is or not but even then he can refer me to someone else

The only people we have left to tell are our bosses (which I know will go over well because they have a trans kid) and our extended family which I'm not as sure about BUT honestly their opinions don't matter as much. All of the important people in our life are going to know and I'm so relieved

It went super well!! We met up at a restaurant in her town and had lunch and then she got to check out our dad's new car (1975 Lincoln Mark IV if you're curious, it's nice af) It was short and sweet bc she gets tired quickly and my cousin just got off night shift but it was so good! She's the best 😭

It makes me sad to see how much she's declined health-wise over the last few years since we saw her though. Last time she was up walking around and cooking and now she's mostly blind and needs help with her mobility. I gotta make a point of going down to visit her more often, I love her so much 💚
