I’m a big fan of classic, “old dark house” style horror, and I’ve used this list a lot: boxd.it/Kh8u

Oh wow, the color of the leaves!! This is breathtaking!
I don’t hate the film or think it’s horrible, I just think it’s very safe. So safe that it verges on dullness for most of its runtime. The cast isn’t given anything to do, and the mystery doesn’t have legs to sustain a movie length plot. It reminds me of a forgettable Murder She Wrote episode.
