Some of the steps in my process of making a gaiwan:

1. Leather hard, still on bats after trimming the outside walls and lid edges/fit.

2. Greenware (after all trimming is finished and clay is bone dry)

3. Bisqueware (after bisque firing, ready for glaze)

4. Finished product, after glaze firing.
