Broke the chariot last night trying to tweak the banners (glue came out lumpy and I hadn't noticed until the primer was on).
Pivoted the idea and now have this. I quite like how it's coming together and will have a different silhouette to my other chariots now.

12 out of 16 warriors built. These models have been a bit of a pain. They'll probably need some gap filling. Pure nostalgia fueling this project.

Today I worked on my sorcerer's new chariot a little. I kept catching the decorations on the poles so they came off. I need to find something to replace them now that won't snap as easily. Something more sorcerous

Galrauch update: pushed through and finished the build stage! This thing is ridiculous and I love it, even if it's mostly paperclips and baking powder at this point.

Galrauch Update: the metal spines have all been pinned. Drilling these holes was time consuming and probably overkill, but I enjoyed the process.

The heads and arms have been pinned. Will need to fill some gaps.
The spines are giving me some pause. Not sure whether to pin them or not. Also not sure what order they go in or where. No box art or instructions. Webpage pictures aren't clear either.

I've not had to assemble something like this since I was a teenager. Always wanted a Galrauch though. It was released around the time I bought my first white dwarf. They were doing articles on each of the chaos gods.

Progress update: Khorne's newest good boy has it's head attached. I think the green stuff work is done. Really happy with the jaw muscles as I haven't tried that before

Had my first game of The Old World at Element Games last night. Really enjoyed it and even got to set my Giant against a Hellpit Abomination!
