December rain has caused headaches with the harvest but the response in pasture growth has been remarkable. After a dry spring, perennial pastures were struggling especially in high SR systems. Yet there has been some impressive growth in lucerne, phalaris or fescue pastures.

Solid year for faba beans, punching 1-1.5t/ha above canola especially on clay soils. Residual soil water helping push yields & WUE.

Windrowing has worked a treat yet again, the big NH was picking up clean rows. Love the residue left behind with fabas sown into stripper stubble.
