Prob is that the ACA exchanges also have cutesy state-by-state names, so tons of people who have benefitted from the law don't even know that's why they have coverage.

As with any water cooler, people tended to stand around these wagons trading gossip, and a lot of tall tales were traded there, so it is now part of Aussie slang to say someone not on the level is "telling a furphy."

To your point about having time to vote, we need vote-by-mail in all 50 states. 81% of voters (living in the states shown in beige) don't have this option, which is ridiculous.
