Trump is right. It’s Liberation day. But not for America, for the rest of the world.

The people in charge often say that we can’t go at the speed of the slowest, or we would never get there. Or the wolves would eat us. That going at the speed of the slowest ok if speed doesn’t matter, or of course if those in charge are the slowest.

Do I want to forward wind to 2029, or will I want to rewind to 2025?

Is anybody else thinking we shouldn’t allow men anywhere without a chaperone to supervise?

If Religion and the State really wanted to influence how people choose to end their lives, they would spend all their energy on quality of life outcomes. I think they want to keep their monopoly on death and the fear of death. It gives them so much of their power.

Western car makers said electric cars couldn’t be done. Then they said they’d never be good enough. Then they said they’d never be cheap enough. Then Tesla and China made them good and cheap and they say that’s not fair. Their hypocrisy is breathtaking. Literally.

Right wing philosophy is fundamentally one of
“the beatings will continue until moral improves”. This runs through their philosophy whenever they think about other people. With the far right take being “we will empower you so you can administer the beatings until moral improves”

Today we ordered a globe bar so we can show the kids where the missiles will come from while not hearing them
