It was a long journey (time and distance) and taco’s tariffs, but our Witches of Scotland (authentic, not the ripoffs that are going around) arrived today! Not by Solstice as I had hopped, but still. It is what it is. I love them.

Back from “No Kings” rally. Not gassed, shot, nor arrested. Only people I saw breaking the law were the four ish pro Trumpers with their huge flag walking against, blocking traffic.

My new campaign hat arrived today. (Bailey 1922 Montana Wool Felt Campaign Hat, beige.) It came with the neat leather band. I added the horse hair band.

Another project down. I cut off the plastic “crystals” that were on the top of this wand, drilled out the top, hot glued in genuine crystals and covered sins with moss. I really need to start doing before shots.
Hot glue is hot.

There was a free day, with ocean science programs, at The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science today. There were little kids there. So I went outside to look at the sculpture and river.

You know how I recently posted that the last wreath was the last iteration (probably)? I added back in the hanging skeleton and this also has spiders/insects I forgot. A bonus for you, here are some details of the elements, a new “peace” sign that got the treatment and a new “sugar” skull.

The Aldi cashier said she liked my outfit. I said thank you. She asked if it was for a special occasion or just my style. I said it was just my style. She said she liked it even better then. It wasn’t anything special. There is a very low bar around here.

My haul of Crescent City Sutlers items from an auction. Did I need any of them? No. But it was a very convenient store I went to for many years to get items for my US Civil War reenactment items. Federal (Union) of course.

I’m trying a thing in the garden (I actually have two). I want to put moss on the top. Maybe bury it in dirt, or slate roof, or as is. Thoughts, feelings, ideas?
