also since it's only for music I turned off the lock screen fully and turned on airplane mode. I also locked it to portrait since I didn't really need any weird orientation bs happening while it's in my pocket.

But yeah that's pretty much it! It sounds great and Poweramp is super feature-rich

and once Poweramp is installed and set in anyhome that's basically it. then it's just a matter of customizing things to how you like. I did things like turning on the custom volume panel so I could have more granular volume control and I installed the Euphoria Dark CM12 theme for consistent theming.

that's all luckpatcher is needed for, so I uninstalled it after that. then it's just a matter of disabling every app that isn't for music or file management.

with that the only other mandatory thing is getting the "anyhome" app installed. we need that to be able to set Poweramp as the launcher

id recommend doing this with a rom at the very least android 5.0.0 since the main app we want to use with this is going to be Poweramp and that has a minimum of 5.0.0

once CM12 was installed I rooted with magisk and installed luckypatcher. with that I odex'd sys apps for space and blocked ads

so the first thing I had to do was get this running a less bloated version of android, so I found the latest official cyanogenmod build for this and flashed that which ended up being CM12, which is android 5.0.2 lollipop. I did not install GAPPS because I'm trying to keep as much space as possible

it works as is though so I probably won't take it apart unless it breaks or something.

next project is to fix this used Wii u I bought that doesn't turn on. From what I've read online it's likely an issue with some power regulator but i have 0 clue how to fix that. that's the fun of it tho ig lol!

but also I did that switch lite mod when I was less knowledgeable and skilled so I don't really feel bad about it. its just too much of a pain the take it apart and redo the wiring. the transparent shells are too delicate, the screw threads will strip if I take it apart too many times

yep, I had this happen to me with exactly these alarms. it just started going off one day when none of the other alarms in the room did anything. It was basically brand new only like a year or so old. Had to end up disabling it fully because it wouldn't hush at all.
