Tilly phrased that in a way that makes it sound like he is one of many lined up at Canada's door expecting a handout.

If we spend the money, given the recent history, it will avoid falling in the USA. The commitment is to the Allies not just the USA.

JD Vance thinks tariffs the USA has against Canada have no effect on Canada, despite the fact Trump said he was tariffing Canada to bankrupt Canada.

No we thank your unfortunate admin. Personally.

This is JD Vance on the Canadian economy:

There were talks? We're just bracing for impact of the USA hammering it's own economy with it's policies. We have no control over what the US admin does.

We are hella busy in Canada. No lies, and no time.

We are getting ready for whatever happens. 🇨🇦 🫡

Going to buy gifts for Christmas soon but concentrating heavily on "old-stock Canadian" products and services. Going to try and get Made in Canada products as much as possible.

Some things I can't get from 🇨🇦 I will get from 🇪🇺 and 🇲🇽

Going to get skincare from "The Ordinary." company as 🎁.

Thanks CSIS. 🫡🇨🇦

Sad Iran and it's proxies are still killing people globally, often for seemingly no reason. The change in laws recently might help CSIS.

Russia and Iran are simply not allies to our alliance. They are hostile and pose a risk to individuals and democracies.

Behind simple truths are complex tasks of unwinding spools made of painful energy transformation over time.

No important information that matters is free. It is all hidden behind the "simple" veil.

Stay curious.

Oh wow. Open AI has my attention. What are they offering Canadians, exactly?

Link to MSN below.

Read up. It's your money and data.

AI is ramping up it's robot usage. Things could get weird.

Agility says it's making AI bots that will coexist in the same space as people shortly. It will simply power down until people pass and then continue on doing it's work.

You know, normally I'm concerned with Canadians and how many are struggling, while I complain about things closer to home...

...but with the USA government shutdown I find myself concerned also for people down south.

It's time to start recognizing what money is. I don't mean studying charts and graphs or even looking at currencies and exchanges.

Money is simple. It is the world's most complex I.O.U. system, spanning generations and traversing the globe.

Be careful who you pull in your I.O.U.s from.

The reason so much direct intervention for these refugees is needed stems from the security, poverty, government of Syria. The individuals usually arrive traumatized and often still without any supports, money or even skills applicable to Canada. Thanks Canada!

I am of the unpopular oppinion: If direct observation is available, it is advisable to pursue this, rather than relying on 3rd person accounts and media.

I know. I'm sorry. I'm old-school.
November 8, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Old-stock Canadians told me they are going directly to help out the recent large group of Syrian refugees in Canada with direct donation and support. Mobilizing for a cause.

The copilot AI said the food bank serves 80% new immigrants so there is a huge opportunity to volunteer there.

We need to have control of our data. We need architecture and design sovereignty.

Dump, bump, frump, plump,
sump-pump, lump, clump, rump...

10% more tariff... expect escalation of our boycotting of your buddies.

We're not powerless in this situation.
October 26, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Some might get confused, but we know who we are.
October 24, 2025 at 2:18 PM
See. Told you. Glad I did my part in boycotting. He can expect that x10 going forward.

I find it easier than expected. Also Canada should look to see if China is interested in strengthening trade partnerships if the 🇺🇸 "Admin." is continuing their bullying. I expect the 🇨🇳 wouldn't mind.
