Finally finished my #sculpt sweater by @unwind-knitwear.bsky.social Took 6 months and multiple adjustments but it's on the blocking mats

I also finished some hats. The green one was for an alien Halloween costume

I haven't finished many projects this year. I did some Sunnyside baby cardigans and a Rock It Tee designed by Tanis Lavalee, and I wove a houndstooth scarf that took me all day to warp and it's too skinny, I wish I had made it 20 more strands wide.

So, I spent most of this afternoon and evening warping sleying and weaving for the first time. So far, I'm not great at it but I will try again (before I sell the loom I just bought because it's way too big and what was I even thinking???)

A few years ago, I tested the beautiful #dragonscales sweater for @popeknits.bsky.social holding a strand of wool with a strand of mohair. Pope's becoming well known as THE mohair/beaded garment designer and was just announced as one of Knit Stars' 10th anniversary instructors!

I have done three messy patches with my new darning loom, so obviously I'm now a professional weaver and can absolutely justify my recent purchase of an Ashford 32" rigid heddle loom and stand.

Slowly getting used to using the platform. I took an embroidery class at the Knit Cafe and was able to use some of my Lichen and Lace embroidery floss.
