Great event in Newburgh, NY!! Very well attended. The best part was as we passed a local restaurant, the whole crown started chanting "TACO! TACO! TACO!"

I attended a #NoKings event in Newburgh, NY. As we marched passed a local restaurant, Hudson Tacos, the whole crowd started chanting "TACO! TACO! TACO!!!"

Someone sent us footage shot by the war department of the POW evacuations. I sorted through endless hours hoping to see him. I can’t be 100% sure but I think the man on the left in this screenshot is him.

My father was in the Army Air Corps during World War II. His plane was shot down 2 weeks after his 22nd birthday. The crew had to bail and were captured when they hit the ground and sent to Stalag Luft 1 in Barth, Germany. He would spend his 23rd birthday in captivity.
