Oh no, the big eepy has come.

That NPC was supposed to DIE. But I exceeded the damage threshhold by such a significant amount that they allowed me to have a 'hidden new quest' addition instead of just killing them off. Fantastic start to one of, still, my favorite campaigns. We went the whole 20 levels with it.

DM comes to me after the first session after I meet up with a party so we could start our adventure. Instead of me going it alone to be a vampire hunter, like the initial plan, I had to be a vampire hunter AND keep my new vampiric lover from killing people OR dying to the sun's rays

Combat commences. The DM is rolling like GARBAGE but I'm rolling fantastic. All through Roll20, mind you. After a while, the vamp flees and I chase him for a while before coming back to my lover's house. From the sheer amount of carnage I did, I managed to indirectly cause them to sire that NPC.

Played him as a middle-aged woman's novel protagonist. Just the most stereotypical, mildly chauvinistic italian stereotype. He fucked, he slashed and he stole the hearts of many.

In the initial setup for him to leave to become an adventurer his lover attacks. I got there just in time to see it.
