I'm seriously excited that I finally have #zekdeewagen in the garage. Sharing garage space with #15ftmk3golf. I haven't seen this car in person in over 3 years and have owned it since the mid 90s. My first Volkswagen.
I hope to make it a driver by the end of next summer.

I'm kind of liking the Pokémon Go update. The storage is an unfortunate consequence. As someone who's been at 44 for years and barely playing. I appreciate the level up, I might play a bit more. Check out my start date. #PokémonGo #grantndub

Drove this thing to work last week no issues. Even had to visit some work sites. Pics from one of those sites.
Drove it to work yesterday and didn't leave. It didn't want to start at the end of the day.
Got a jump and then drove home. This morning, I noticed my cable to the starter was loose.

2 months since last #15ftmk3golf update.
Been doing its daily duty of taking my kid to school and an occasional trip to work over a month now. No tire rubbing. I got rid of that cut down fuse box and extend some wiring. Also got a new battery.
This thing is a roller. Anyway, here are some pics.

2 months since last #15ftmk3golf update.

I've been building this course for my scx24, using mostly stuff I had already. No real plan but an idea to build a course. So far, happy with what I got. I tried to make it somewhat portable but I'm thinking it's going to need its own stand.

Weekend work for #15ftmk3golf
Started off with a drivetrain hardware check including tightening the splash sheid. Then lowered the front a bit.
Moved to the interior to remove dash for some planned wiring. Then proceed to replace ignition switch. Puller to remove adapter to remove switch.

First repair remove the janky 2 into 1 junction, that I installed when I relocated the battery, with a modified mk4 VW battery top fuse box.
Temp installed for now.

Been lacking posting the the price I pay for gas, so here's 4 in 1. With a bonus gas station, my local gas station was showing 3 cents more online. And the most recent 7-11 one gave me an extra 5 cents off.

Spent a bit of time this past weekend, making an obstacle course for my scx24. So far, some black composite tiles, a couple of 3d printed ramps, rocks, twigs, and some spray glue.
Got my truck flexing. This was just a test to see if the glue and rocks were gonna work.

A tariff story in 3 pictures. Based on a servo I bought for my SCX24. Same supplier delivered to same address. Free shipping, then shipping that costs as much as the part. $12 part is now $25 because of shipping. I almost want to order one to see how long it takes to ship.
