I am happy to say that I won three ICMA InterContinental Music Awards yesterday! Two in American Roots for "Your Fire" and "She Walked" on my PENNY BALLADS album, and a third with Kevin Lucas for our song "Scarborough Fair" in Best Instrumentalist.

Good news and bad news: my electric guitar sounds as good now as it did before I had it underwater at Lake of the Ozarks for an hour. The bad news is that it didn't sound too good before. That's why I hadn't played it in 10 years. If you haven't seen the video, here's the link:

I met Joanne Jacques when I played in the Richmond district of London (UK) 10 years ago. We kept in touch, and it turned out we had a friend in common, John Carroll. It's hard to believe it's been a decade since that show! I love it when my fans are also friends and we stay in touch.
