I think the fixture list didn’t exactly help either. With us playing at St James Park for their first league game at home, those fans would be feral and very hostile

1. I think Newcastle had it agreed that he could leave but they didn’t expect to get top 4 after winning a trophy. They prob want to honour the agreement but have to find a way for the fans to accept it. Especially for £130m when they want £150m

Having Wirtz in the false 9 position but as a floating 10 we will get more security with the 3 midfielders. With the midfielders not being to far forward you would hope they do t get run into the ground as much. Hopefully less space to cover while being defensively sound

I think Slot and his management team have underestimated the mental aspect of playing in the premier league. The players maybe physically able to play every 3 days but mentally they need a break
